A busy day! A good day for biking. The roads were dry and the sun shone, traffic was light. The Suzuki was singing in the damp, cool morning air and the ride across the downs to Winchester set the pace for the day.

A few days ago I was interviewed for a secondment opportunity at work, a trainers post for ten months. Between support calls the call from the interviewer came and broke the monotony. Success.

A lunch time celebration with colleagues broke the work routine, curry and beer at home rounded off the week.

Now, how will I tell the team that they are going to be short-handed?
