Ok, so it’s not like winning a medal, but being chosen as runner-up in Lily Childs’ Feardom, Friday Prediction, is pretty, damned good. Well I think it is, because my submission, On the cheap, was chosen by Chis Allinotte, the competition judge this week. Muckieduckie’s  untitled piece was the winner.

So if you fancy writing 100 words of flash fiction, get on over there for this week’s three starter words; gyrate, flame and border. I’m sure Lily would welcome you – she likes new blood. (She’s also partial to old blood, and black pudding. She’s not fussy.)

On the cheap is reproduced on the More scratchings… tab, for your instant enjoyment.
