Voice Week is an experimental writing challenge to help us stretch our versatility in voice and tone. Each Voice Week participant writes five versions of the same story – from five different points of view. Then, October 1 through 5, we post, compare, sharpen, and grow.
It is organised by the BeKindRewrite Inspiration Monday team, and we’ll all be passing comment on each others’ stories.

Oh! Goody! Dezzy’s still here. Pressy time! Gotta get in there quick, he’s such a hunk, I love a mature man.
“Hello Dez, happy birthday!” Better pull the tee shirt a bit tighter, mum always said to make the most of what I’ve got.
“Oh, thank you, Chelsea.”
“I’ve got you a little pressy as it’s such a special day for you.” Well, it could be if you play your cards right. Flutter eyelashes, thrust the chest.
“That is very sweet of you, thanks.” Sweet! I’m not thinking sweet, just look where these puppies are pointing!
“I thought you would like to peel the wrapping off your special treat.” That should be the clincher. Oh, yes! He’s lost for words and fumbling with the ribbon. Let’s hope for some more fumbling later.
