Voice Week is an experimental writing challenge to help us stretch our versatility in voice and tone. Each Voice Week participant writes five versions of the same story – from five different points of view. Then, October 1 through 5, we post, compare, sharpen, and grow.

Look at her! Flaunting that over inflated chest around the office again. It looks like she’s homing in on poor old Trodd this time.
Jeez! How does she manage to get them moving in so many different directions at once!
What’s with the present? Oh, damn! Of course! It’s his bloody sixtieth.
Looks like he’s in for a good evening – she really shouldn’t dress like that in the office.
“Mary! Dash round to the corner shop and get a birthday card for old Trodd, will you!”
