I’ve just updated my 1970s pages with loads of new articles about my memories of that special era.
The BBC (BBC1) are running a series called ‘Back in Time’, and are featuring the 70s. The picture they paint is one of difficult times, the Three day week, political unrest, strikes and shortages. Although I remember the likes of Grunwick, flying pickets and sitting in the dark waiting for the power to come back on, there were brighter times.
